Winterbourne House and Gardens

Winterbourne House and Gardens

Near the University of Birmingham, this house and gardens were built in 1903 for a weathy industrialist, John Nettlefold, whose family originally made their money in screw maufacturing. He was also a social reformer whose primary interest was in the improvement of public housing in Birmingham for the working classes.
