Arches in Arches inside the Mesquita

Humanity has been building here for a while. First major structures by the Romans, then the Visigoths built a church, then the Moors came along and built a major mosque supported throughout with these characteristic banded arches. After the Christian reconquest of Adalucia, they tore out the middle and erected an Italianate cathedral in place.
