I rescued this bird from drowning in a tub of water. We had had a drought and the birds were so desperate for water they fell into the tub for the water at the bottom and could not get out. Sadly 4 others had already drowned. This rescued one sat shivering and drying for 10 minutes before flying off. I now have a water feature that enables birds to drink easily.
