To the left is the pedestrian bridge called the Rambla del Mar which leads to the bottom of Las Ramblas. This area contains the Barcelona Aquarium and lots of shops and restaurants. Very like Darling Harbour in many ways. You can also see the illegal street vendors who put out a large cloth on which they display their cheap wares to sell to gullible tourists. When the police come, they draw up the edges of the cloth to make a big bag of their tat, and run off into the night.
